Why are Vector maps downloaded to the "invalid" subfolder?

Another tiny problem: after the recent updates (3.11.3) my vector maps for Germany are downloaded to a subfolder "(invalid)". Does it have a purpose? Or is it a bug?

Hello,

interesting. I'll try to simulate it, thanks.

Hi,

were you able to simulate this problem since you reported it? Because you are still the only one who reported such problem and I also was not able to simulate it. Weird ... so for now, topic probably closed.

Yes, I still have those maps in the invalid folder. I'll delete them and download them again and see what happens, okay?

It will be perfect. Thanks. In case they will download again to invalid folder, please create for me a log wight after you notice this. Hope there should be any usable info.

So, it seems to be working fine now!

However, it still puts Sachsen and Bayern in Germany into a folder separated from the rest of Europe as dealed with here:

Fine.

Download to separate folders is correct. To display them in a way as you wanted in your second idea, open map manager, tab "offline" and in top toolbar choose sorting "Smart". This sorting is still not perfect, so it is not as "default".
