Code 10099

Hi.

Sometimes during long trips I need to preserve battery so I set my phone to airplane mode.

I have offline maps downloaded. I have routing method set to Lorouter offline. I have area routing data downloaded. I have everything I need.

So why I have to see this completely useless info about error code 10099 hundred of times over and over? I know I'm offline, I did this on purpose.

How to turn off this message?

Please, advise.

I preserve my battery during long day rides exactly like you describe, but I've never seen error 10099 or have any idea where it is displayed. Maybe provide a screencap to help further?

Hi. Unfortunately it's in Polish, but it says I'm offline and should check my network connection. This pops out when navigation functions are in use.

It doesn't sound like *offline* navigation then? BTW you mention preserving your battery. I save more by not using active navigation. I have the navigation route (track) displayed, then simply turn on the screen for 5s each time I need to make a decision, or get bored. That saves considerable battery too.

Yes. I need to be offline but the app tells me: don't.

Anyway, you are right about just routing without navigation; I mostly do the same. But I'd like to be able to use all gold functions :)

Promising is that since today the message is gone in routing mode and in navigation is much less frequent. Like Locus eventually managed to gather all necessary data... Maybe the issue has been resolved by itself.

Hi,

if you have LoRouter offline set, do you also have offline routing data downloaded? If LoRouter doesn't have offline data, the app tries to download them and when there is no connection, it displays an error.

Hi. Yes, that's why I was surprised app warns me I'm offline. I did everything to be prepared.

At the moment, we are unable to reproduce the problem and we don't have any similar feedback from other users. Anyway, thanks for reporting the issue, we'll be waiting for more feedback, and additional info on how to simulate the issue.

Understood. It may be device related issue. I'll try on different phone, then clean install. Thank you.

I found another Locus topic regards error 10099; may be of interest because it seems related
