Good morning, I've had a Locus Map Gold version for several years, and it's always worked great. Immediately after updating my Samsung S24 to Android 16, I started having a lot of problems. Recording occasionally freezes for no apparent reason, or it records a straight line. I've tried all the settings you suggested, but the problem persists. please get Locus Map permission for all-time access to the location and exclude Locus Map from all means of battery optimization so that the app can run in the background, see http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:gps_lost_fix_android6. Also, switch Google Services-assisted location off in Locus settings - GPS & sensors.

This isn't Locus' fault. Samsung made a mistake during the update. Information is available in the German forum.

I've switched away from Samsung and am now only using Xiaomi.
