No longer possible to print full topic web page
This problem is related to the "UseResponse" web page system, not any Locus product. Would it be possible to pass this problem onto the UseResponse people?
Up until a few months ago I was able to print a Locus help desk web page (ctrl+P) to a PDF file. The PDF file would contain all posts for the displayed topic; useful for saving topics offline for reference and searching. Sometime in the last few months printing no longer works correctly - only the original topic is written to the PDF file (or sent to the printer) not any additional posts from subsequent commenters. I don't have this problem with other websites, so I am pretty sure it is related to UseResponse.
As an example, see this Locus topic - it has many additional comments. Attached are 2 PDF files - the one I original "printed" contains all the comments. The one I "printed" just now only contains the original description.
I am using Windows 10 and have tried this with latest Firefox and Chrome. It is easier to reproduce the problem with Chrome because it provides a "print preview" - no need to even print to file or printer - observe that it only previews the original topic description.
Hi Andrew,
i use in FF.
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/screengrab-fix-version/
right click on page, ScreenGrab/save file/complete page/frame
you get jpg or png file
note: in long threads you have to to open "Show All" to see all posts

hi guys,
I forwarded the issue to UseResponse but I'm not sure if it is of any help - the problem has been reported some time ago at their helpdesk but to no avail - they seem not to have any change in their plans

well, our voice has been heard :) here's the good news: "We are going to add best answer and comments in print version of topics for the next release. Put it on our roadmap" (Staz Kuzma, UseResponse support).

Thanks Michal. Good result.

Will it be necessary to just try printing to PDF every now and then, or does the help.locusmap.eu site display a "UseReponse" version number somewhere? Or maybe UseReponse have release notes as detailed as Locus?

I think only our server admin knows about updates as we are using self-hosted version. Locusmap page doesn't display such info. However, release notes are available, see https://help.useresponse.com/knowledge-base/articles/release-notes

This was fixed sometime in the last 2 months. Nice one.
