Good, notification in system bar for recording works now in A2.1
Still amazing fast startup!!
New: upon quitting Locus, it now says "Network disabled" instead of "GPS disabled" (this is the popup a few seconds after exiting Locus).

To me it seems that this changed notification was made as Locus uses also other sources for determining the current location i.e. the information from WiFi or mobile networks.
Did Locus use this information in the past?

yes it used. System on background is same, just notification is now more precise. Before it said "GPS on" even if GPS in system was turned off. Now it say only what really uses and what really disabled.
