Own icons for the POIs

All problems caused by the directory change from Locus/*.* to Android/data/menion.android.locus.pro/*.* I have solved in the meantime.

Only one issue is still unsolved: own icons for the POIs.

Earlier I had simply loaded the icon PNG files to locus/cache/images (but without PNG extension).
That doesn't work anymore.

Is there another way I can use customized icons?

Thank you very much.

I had already read the paragraph in the manual - but I'm doing something wrong.

Requirement:

There is the old directory "Locus/icons/*" with the subdirectories "cursors" and "navigation".

And there is the new directory "Android/data/menion.android.locus.pro/*" which I can't access.

When I copy a ZIP file with "*.png"-icons into the old directory nothing happens and I can't copy anything into the new directories, because I don't have write permission.

What am I doing wrong?

us e.g. X-plore or Total Commander on your device, or connect your device via USP to PC

then you can copy the zip to the desired folder

Android/data/menion.android.locus.pro/files/Locus/icons

@Zdeněk Kondler - how about replacing all the standard map POI icons - no mention in https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:advanced:customization:icons. I find the Locus POI icon colors very pale, too much fine detail & therefore hard to see.

Generally all I want is LoPoints(offline) > select category > display closest 100 on map.

I would like to create a ZIP with one simple icon for each POI category/ file such as:

fd3792d22850131870b024bc28e75045

If I want to view all closest toilets, or all water, or all bike shops etc. then it becomes really obvious with this icon set.
